Intensive Prevention Services (IPS)

The Intensive Prevention Services (IPS) program is an initiative funded by the City of Philadelphia Department of Human Services that offers case management, counseling, academic enrichment and extracurricular activities to at risk youth between the ages of 10 and 17.

• Art Therapy
• Work Readiness Training
• Sports and Recreation
• Field Trips
• Family Counseling

Eligibility

To be eligible for this program, youth must have experienced one or more of the following:

• Have a history of excessive absences from school
• Have been suspended 3 or more times from school or expelled in the past 12 months
• Have been arrested within the past 12 months
• Have a history of running away.
