¡Oiga! (Listen!) is a digital media leadership program for middle school youth. Participants utilize broadband and digital technology to research news and topics of interest and to create blogs, videos and short films. The project combines journalism, literature, film, visual arts and digital technology to develop youth leaders, improve digital literacy, promote academic achievement and expose youth to careers in media technology.
For more information, contact Harry Mendez at (215)426-8734 or [email protected].
¡Oiga! is funded through a generous grant from the Comcast Foundation.
